I'm stuck between a 4 and 5 star rating. The food wasn't a 5 but had potential to be so I left the overall as a 5 star even though the food was a 4. We stopped in at 6:15 on a Friday night and it was strangely quiet. We were the only ones there until we left at 7, though there were a few reserved signs on the tables. The service was friendly and the waitress answered all my questions, though she didn't check in much, probably because we were the only table in the place. The free chips and salsa were a great start. The salsa was a darker red than the usual run-of-the-mill stuff and had a really nice roasted flavor. My husband enjoyed the steak burrito, especially with some of the milder green sauce and the queso on top. The queso itself was overpriced for the size and way too runny to eat easily with the chips. I had the steak and chicken fajitas, which came out sizzling (see video.) It had good flavor, but the vegetables were mostly onions with very few peppers and only one tomato. When I took my portion to go I left a large amount of the onions and still had too many at home. It definitely could have used some guacamole for the salad on the side. Overall the prices were reasonable besides the queso, and we'd come back again to try some variety.
I've had lunch here twice while on vacation visiting family & friends in the Jct area. Friendly fast service and very good food at reasonable prices. I had a burrito both times -Las Palmas & Ranchero. I am definitely eating here a third time before I head back home to Germany.
